X-Plane 10 crashing on startup Basically what my problem is that i click the xp10 icon it begins to load but then if i click anywhere on the screen or press any button on the keyboard it starts not responding and the xp10 windows goes black, if I click again it goes a grey or brown colour and continues to not respond. Idk why but my game keeps crashing, all i do i look outside of my plane and then it freezes and closes down or pops up a crash thing, anyone know how to fix it? EDIT!!!!: Issue is resolved. Using the latest installer from the website, and the latest NVIDIA Drivers has fixed the issue.Any help greatly appreciated!Have experienced this problem for awhile now.
The X-Plane 11 Installer, downloaded directly from the X-Plane website crashes at startup. I have it installed on my laptop, no problems. This error only occurs on my desktop, and with some hardware changes.My Original Rig:Windows 10 ProMSI X99 SLI Gaming Plus MBIntel i7 5820k Not OC16GB DDR4 RAMEVGA Hybrid 1070 GPUMy New Rig, in which the problem still persists:AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1950xMSI X399 Gaming Pro Carbon32GB DDR4Same EVGA Hybrid 1070Due to the fact the GPU is the only persistent hardware, I lean towards it being at fault. This is backed up by the installer log file, attached below, that shows the last entry as errors in NVIDIA OpenGL. I'm really not sure where to go from here or how to get this working.
